Clear, structured resources for English, literacy, Functional Skills and inclusive learning.
I create worksheets, workbooks, teaching resources and books designed to make complex skills more manageable through explicit teaching, careful scaffolding and repeated practice. My materials are used by teachers, tutors, parents and learners, and many are particularly suited to students who benefit from clear structure, reduced cognitive load and a more gradual route towards independent work.
This site brings together my teaching resources on TES and my published books on Amazon, organised so that you can browse by subject.
GCSE English Language
My GCSE English Language resources focus particularly on building writing skills in a clear and structured way. They include materials for descriptive writing, opening paragraphs, planning, sentence construction and developing ideas, as well as resources that explore perspective and bias.
The resources are designed to make the demands of GCSE English Language more explicit, especially for learners who find open-ended writing difficult or need more guidance before moving towards independent exam responses.

Functional Skills English
My Functional Skills English resources cover reading and writing from Entry Level through to Level 2.
The collection includes practice papers, sentence-writing resources, progression materials, work on audience and purpose, writing bundles and structured support for learners developing the skills needed for Functional Skills qualifications. Many of the resources are designed to provide repeated practice so that learners can become secure with one skill before moving on to the next.
You can also find my published Functional Skills writing book in the Books section.

Literacy and Phonics
My literacy resources are designed to support the development of reading, spelling, phonics and understanding of how English words are structured.
They include phonics materials as well as my book Understanding English Through Word Parts, which explores how prefixes, suffixes, roots and patterns can help learners make sense of vocabulary, spelling and meaning.
These resources may be particularly useful for learners who benefit from explicit teaching of the patterns within written English.

Neurodiversity and SEND
My neurodiversity resources include accessible guides on autism, dyslexia, monotropism and autistic processing.
They are intended to support greater understanding of neurodivergent learners and to make key ideas clear and practical for teachers, tutors, parents and others working with children and young people.
My wider teaching resources are also shaped by experience of working with autistic learners and students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, auditory-processing differences and other SEND.
